Our first landscape need not necessarily be a barren mountain, the vast sea or forests in exuberant green. It could just as easily be grandma's attic, a corner of the garden or your grandfather's stall. And maybe that first landscape will become the framework of our gaze once and for all.

During the longest political crisis ever in Belgian politics, director Pascal Poissonnier filmed for over more than a year a couple of leading political journalists during there daily work. An odyssey through journalism and politics and how they love one another. In a direct cinema style, Pascal Poissonnier follows the journalists through their daily quest for a scoop, and discovers the relationship between the Belgian media and its politicians. The 2010 federal government negotiations - which are bound to go into history as a breaking point in Belgium's politics - is the backdrop for the film.

Five young people with a reputation at school for being ‘troublemakers’ educate the audience. Dissident premiered last season and is restaged in the 22-23 season because of its big success.
The young actors have become - often unconsciously - experts in provoking the ruling authority. But this time the roles are reversed and the young people take over the stage.
What does it mean to constantly be the exception? And what do the current rules and expectations in secondary education tell us about the prevailing ideas of successful citizenship? In what way is today's education determined by work pressure, performance pressure and bureaucracy? In what way does unconscious racism still determine who gets second chances and who doesn't?What does it take to really learn? And can a teacher be more than a conduit of knowledge?
