PRISON DANCE - dancefilm (2018)
This dance film intimately portrays womanhood in prison. The inmates themselves highlight elements that they may or may not have to contend with just inside the walls, cut off from their freedom. The project focuses on the need for socially connecting and empowering values. All qualities that are needed when returning to society. ‘It is so pleasant that someone takes the time to listen to me, someone who also values my opinion,’ says one participant.
